About flaghold.lol

Last updated 26 August 2026

flaghold.lol is a small advertising site built around one idea: a map is a more interesting place to put your product than a list.

Each board is a map split into regions, and each region is an advertising slot. Pay once and your brand name, colour and link take that slot. Your colour fills the region on the map. Someone else can take it from you later by paying more, and you can take it back.

What position means

Nothing except what has been paid. It is not a ranking, a review, an award or an endorsement, and we do not verify what anyone placing says about themselves. The board shows who paid the most for a slot, and that is all it has ever shown.

What it is not

This is a game of paid placement. No state, territory, land, governmental affiliation, endorsement or territorial right is bought, sold or represented. Region names and outlines identify advertising slots. There is no element of chance, no prize and no payout — you buy a placement at a published price and receive it immediately.
